Set in the former Salt Warehouse, a fourteenth-century building, the MUVE documents Empoli's long glassmaking tradition, famous for its distinctive "green glass". Through reconstructions, videos and historical documentaries, the museum tells the story of an industry that shaped the town's economy and identity.
